- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Gabig together with my Mom battled my mom's cancer; my mom took all the treatments and was a cancer survivor. I took my Mom to her last check up on May of this year to Stony Brook Hospital where Doctor Gabig always took care of my mom; he was so happy when he checked my mom again and he told us that in another 6 months for another follow up. My mom and I were jumping of happiness. My Mom Rosa E Mendez passed away on August 12th of this year because the Medical Negligence of Sunrise Manor Nursing Home where my mom caught a deadly virus. She was saved by the Doctors at Southside Hospital and I took her from there to Meadowbrook Care Center in Freeport where my mom was denied oxygen and died of this criminal virus on her legs that spread all over her organs in just 14 hours at South Nassau Hospital.
